Marriage seminar: “The art of communication”
Living cross-culturally presents many challenges and joys. This usually includes the need to make changes in the patterns of marriage and family life. As we make these adjustments, effective communication between a couple is crucial. So we are offering this session for couples to reflect on the way they communicate to help them cope with the challenges of change.
The seminar will last two hours and couples will be sitting on their own and working through some things as a couple. There is no group work involved. There is material on DVD for people to watch which is interspersed with exercises for the couple to do together. A workbook will be provided for each participant.
We will be using the session “The art of communication” from “The Marriage Course” which is produced by a church in UK and is used in many nations. (For general information see: http://www.relationshipcentral.org/marriage-course )
